Skirrid Mountain Inn– Monmouthshire, Wales
One of the oldest pubs in Wales, the Skirrid Mountain Inn's first floor was used as a court of law during the Welsh revolt. There, Judge Jeffreys sentenced over a 100 men to hanging, and performed their executions within the inn itself. Guests report seeing the ghost of Judge Jeffreys roaming the halls, looking for people to condemn, and some guests have gone so far as to say they've awoken to the feeling of ropes being tightened around their necks. Some even have the marks to prove it.
