EREUTHROPHOBIA – fear of blushing
Blushing is an involuntary and entirely natural response triggered by emotional stress such as embarrassment or romantic stimulation. Blood rushes to the face, causing the face to redden. Though blushing is completely commonplace, those suffering from ereuthrophobia are afraid to blush. More often than not, the fear stems from the inability to mask feelings more so than the action of blushing in and of itself.
